Description

There are times when the light and the elements around you change in a way that what you see in front of you becomes more of a scene within a dream than normal reality, that is what happened to me on the evening of 7-27-2019 at Colorado's Rocky Mountain Arsenal. A passing storm darkened the skies and cast sweeping rain curtains that obscured the horizon and added drama to the scene. A sliver of light from the setting sun found its way through a break in the clouds to create a runway of golden light in front of me, and a lone tree in a level field of weathered grass created a perfect canvas for all of those elements to come together to create the image before you.
